ISOVER Ireland were proud to bring the International Awards to Dublin, and were joined by Professor Eoin Lewis of the Irish Green Building Council who addressed the international audience. Our regional Irish Winners were represented at the event - Francis Clauson’s Ultra Low Energy House, Kiltilly, Co. Wexford, a residential passive house was represented by Zeno Winkens, Winkens Architecture & Chris Gahan of Gr8 Developments. Our second place regional winners Green Extension Architects for home-owner Liam Desmond’s A2 rated renovation in Stillorgan Co Dublin, and Glenashling Nursing Home, in Celbridge - the first Passive Certified nursing home in Ireland represented by Archie O’Donnell of Integrated Energy. These were joined by some highly innovative International projects, including the renovation of a 1575 house in Switzerland; the first Passive house Church in Poland and an Astronomy House in Heidelberg Germany among others.
ISOVER Ireland were proud to showcase Dublin to an International audience and all delegates were given an architectural tour of Dublin’s historical and modern sites from Trinity College to Grand Canal Quay.
